Nintendo Wii U

Nintendo Wii U will be next Nintendo main console and Wii succesor, and it is going to have better graphics, HD ones, very close to Xbox 360 and PS3 ones, it will be compatible with original Wii titles and won't be able to play Bue Ray or DVD films.

Its main attraction is its pad, a pad that will also have video, so you can watch the game on the pad too, and game will be able to move from TV screen to pad and so on.

3rd part developers are already saying this console surpasses the current generation consoles, actually can't wait for Zelda wii u ever since i saw the tech demo and an interview said the game will have similar and even improved game play like in the demo, also can't wait for NG3 on wii u and i hope they announce DOA5 on Wii U any time soon!

To be honest, the games announced for Wii U are quite appealing and very interesting (didn't have time to create topics yet but i will soon).

Well im not sure about the console, is too soon yet, i suppose it will be good cause games are what matter for me, though i don't understand that feature about changing the video from TV to pad, it is a bit weird... console must be connected to TV anyway. O.O

I think Nintendo doesn't know what to invent and is adding weird things to Wii U x), that doesn't mean i consider it bad or anything, i just don't understand the pad feature.

It is good though that Nintendo said they will care more about hardcore gamers and not only casual ones, 3DS is already doing that and in my opinion it is great.

About DOA 5, well i hope they at least announce it someday. O.O

i totally loved the idea of the display controller since it can run in parallel and u can display aspects of the game like the in-game map or inventories and etc on it, it's really creative how the devs will use this feature and come up with new ideas with it.

it sounds better for me now How you explained it , i didn't get the idea much, but yep, it could be funny for some games.

Pad screen is tactile too, right?, then it can be a great idea indeed.

I'm more interested in the 56 inch TV in the background. XD

On topic: The only thing shown in this trailer was a new TV/ touch screen controller.

basically a wii compatible 3ds.
The only game that really got my interest was the High def version of Zelda (Link looked so awesome!!!! )

Well as Volken said, the pad video is connected to TV video, so while you play the game on the TV, the menu of the game or some other nice things are shown on the pad, which will be tactile, and as it is shown on the video, it seems we will be able of moving the game from TV screen to our pad if it is more comfortable for us. ^-^

yeah, but I see they still use the wii mote a lot.

Sony used the same thing they had for ps2, for ps3 basically XD

It might be good, I just got to see some promising titles first.
